Do you ever ask yourself "is this all there is?"

If you ask yourself/tell yourself any of the following, you'll know what I went through when I started exploring Arbonne as an alternative to my corporate pr/marketing position... How can I find balance in my life? How can I make/find more time to do things that I love? Is this all there is? Is work really meant to be hard? What do I really want to do with my life? How can I make a difference in other people's lives without sacrificing my lifestyle?

The answers have been revealed in a process... and yes, so far Arbonne has met those questions with answers that ground me instead of terrify me, and provided the time to pursue those longings of mine (yoga, sewing classes, travel, starting a family). While I respect the workforce and anyone's chosen occupation, for me I can say that I will never return to such a work-centered lifestyle. Now, my day-to-day truly aligns with what I value most - my health, my family - not squeezing these things in around my work schedule, but the other way around.

I was moved by the information that I learned at my first Arbonne presentation. As a society, we assume that what is sold on the shelves is safe, that someone is watching over what the cosmetic industry is selling to us. But for the most part, all that is required of cosmetic companies is listing the ingredients on the label. Did you know that whatever you put on your skin shows up in every organ within 26 seconds? And the U.S. has only banned 8 cosmetic ingredients, while the E.U. has banned over 1,100. Now that I know better, I do my best to stay current on changes in the industry and help to inform others about the impact our toxic world can have on our health and how to make wiser choices.

I love that we offer a vegan option for personal care products, and that in our company's 29-year history we've never tested on animals. And even though our products are pure and safe, they also actually deliver results. Check out the Before & After pictures on www.arbonne.com (see link at the bottom of this page.)  I think it's fascinating that every time someone washes their hair, shaves, takes a protein shake after a workout, that I am getting paid for that. I help save my clients time and money by shopping from Arbonne, and as an added bonus, they're using something that is safe for themselves and their family.

I was able to leave the corporate world - and its imposed salary cap - after a successful 10-year career. I now have my own business that is significantly less stressful, yet just as challenging. I work less hours and take more vacation. I have wonderful business partners, who are now close friends  -- performing artists, nurses, corporate burn-outs, stay-at-home parents, Arbonne is a key to financial peace so we can spend our time and money how we choose.
